Barenia Faubourg leather is a type of material used by Hermès to produce some styles of its signature Birkin bag. It is a fine quality calfskin leather with a soft, supple feel and a slightly dimpled texture.

We carefully searched and picked high-quality veg tanned genuine leathers from Italy as the raw material for our covers, Minerva Box Wax and Lux. We use the the ring mechanism from the Germany brand, Krause.

The genuine leather itself will have its own leather aroma, and will become more and more shiny and also patina with time. These signs and marks of use are reflecting the deep bonds between the owners and leather notebooks from the day and night uses, and they are the best gift left by the time.

The process is semi-handmade. We manually completed steps including leather selection, pattern setting, and leather cutting, with only the stitching is done by machine. Machine stitchings are more neat and even.
